Make a regular impact with your generosity
Through workplace giving, your regular small donations will support breakthroughs and innovations in medical research aimed at benefiting young cancer patients.
What is workplace giving?
Workplace giving is a simple way to donate regularly to registered charities. Your employer pays your donation directly to your chosen charity each payday.
Giving from your pre-tax income means donations cost you less, while charities receive the full benefit of your donation. Workplace giving also removes the need to collect receipts or wait until the end of the financial year to claim a tax refund.
How to join a workplace giving program
Here are the steps you can follow:
- Ask your employer if they have a workplace giving program: There are a few different companies and online platforms that your employer can use to facilitate workplace giving. If the Children’s Cancer CoLab isn't part of your employer’s workplace giving program, please email us so we can arrange to be included.
- Inform your payroll department: Ask your payroll department to deduct your nominated donation amount to Children’s Cancer CoLab from your gross (pre-tax) salary each pay period. Your employer will then make these donations to Children’s Cancer CoLab on your behalf.
- Inform us of your decision: If you're comfortable, please let us know you are making a workplace giving donations to Children’s Cancer CoLab. This lets us thank you personally and update you on our work.
