Transforming childhood cancer research together

An investment in the future

To accelerate childhood cancer scientific breakthroughs from the laboratory into the clinic, the Victorian Government and the Children’s Cancer Foundation invested $45 million in a groundbreaking initiative—the Children’s Cancer CoLab. The Victorian Government’s contribution of $35 million, alongside the Children’s Cancer Foundation’s $10 million, will lead to improved outcomes for young cancer patients everywhere.

Children’s Cancer Foundation

The Children’s Cancer Foundation founded the Children’s Cancer CoLab and raises funds to support world-class research, clinical care, and family support programs. With its $10 million investment in the Children’s Cancer CoLab, young cancer patients will benefit from the groundbreaking discoveries made possible through the Foundation’s support.

Victorian Government

Victoria is home to world-class medical research, clinical and academic institutions. Thanks to the Victorian Government’s $35 million investment in the Children’s Cancer CoLab, childhood cancer experts across disciplines and institutions are supported to collaborate and further their research, ensuring that their discoveries are fast-tracked into the clinic.
