Dr Martine Keenan

‍Dr Martine Keenan is a drug discovery and development scientist with 25 years in the pharmaceutical industry. She began as a medicinal chemist at Eli Lilly UK before transitioning to drug development leadership at Epichem, a leading contract services company in Australia, where she later served as CEO. Now with the SYNthesis group, she focuses on biotech start-ups and venture capital. Her expertise spans drug discovery, business development, commercialisation, and executive leadership.

A Fellow of the Royal Society of Chemistry, she received the Export Councils’ 2019 WA Women in International Business Award. Martine is currently Chief Innovation Officer at SYNthesis Research and Chief Operating Officer of Anaxis Pharma.
